HALFORD Guitarist To Pen GUITAR WORLD Column

HALFORD guitarist Mike Chlasciak will be doing a series of "Guest Guitarist" columns for Guitar World magazine. The series will be tentatively called "Horns Up For Metal" and will focus on gear, techniques and ideas as they apply to heavy metal. Mike will join the list of Zakk Wylde, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Yngwie Malmsteen, Marty Friedman and many other top guitar players who have or had their own column in the magazine. Asked about this unique opportunity, Mike replied, "I'm extremely excited about this and I'm looking forward to talking about guitar and metal in general. As a guitar player, this is really an honor. I strongly believe that the readers will really love these columns".

The series should debut sometime in late 2002.
